Party?!?

So last night my new found friends and I were headed over to a supposed party in Heritage Halls. On our way over we ran into a huge group of guys who informed us that the party was lame and we shouldn't waste our time. Well, we wanted to dance and party so we decided to make our own party with these random boys. We started out in the lounge of their hall but quickly got in trouble for being too loud. So we moved it outside where we again got in trouble for still being to close to the building. Finally we moved it over to the parking lot and by that time the small, random dance party had turned into quite a large event. My friends and I were pretty proud of ourselves for throwing a party that spread quite far. We even had football players show up and cops to supervise. Unfortunatly we got shut down at midnight but on the way back home even more people were headed over to the party we had started. =] It was pretty fantastic, especially since those things don't happen back home.

Finally!!

So today was the day I've been waiting for! I got to move into my dorm and I got a job!! Could it get any better of a day? So I love my dorm. Even though I'm currently the only one here because I moved in 2 days earlier than everyone else. My roommate is in town and has all her stuff here but she is staying in a hotel with her parents until Wednesday. There is a lot of pink because apperently pink things were all both of us could find. But its cute. And I got the best job on planet earth! Ok well not really, I'm sure there are better jobs, but at this time period and for me, it is the best job. It's at a shoe store in the Provo mall called Sole Envy. I have a great work schedule and it's a set schedule which will be super nice when it comes time to plan all those dates with all those boys. ;] I'm so excited and so glad that all the work and stress of trying to find a job finally worked out.

While In Utah...

So everyone has been worried that I wouldn't tell them all the exciting things going on here in Utah so I decided to start a blog to keep you all updated. =] Just to catch up those that haven't heard, here's what's been going on so far.

When my mom was still out here two Monday's ago, she, my aunt Liz and I went to the Y to see my dorm room and get my books and things. According to Mom and Liz, BYU makes me light up the same way Disneyland does. I'm not quite sure about that but I am pretty excited to go there! My dorm room is pretty small, but not nearly as small as I was expecting. I also got my ID card and didn't have to wait in any line. I was pretty excited about that and ran around all day flashing my card and proving to people that I was a real BYU student now. We went and got my books as well but they didn't (and still don't) have two of them in stock. Which is making me all nervous because now I may not get first choice on the good books and I may have to wait in a huge line. Great!! After our BYU trip, we headed over to the University Mall to pick up a million job applications.

This Thursday I went back to Provo to return all my job applications. I had a group interview at Down East Basics on Friday which I was pretty excited about. There were 8 of us there for the interview but I didn't do too horrible so I'm just waiting to see what happens. I also have job interviews lined up at Forever 21 and Bath and Body Works this coming weeks so hopefully something will work out.

And just today I confirmed and found out some of the most exciting news. Provo is getting an In-N-Out!!! It should be done sometime in October! Could things get any better?!? Well yes, they could! Because I just got an e-mail from BYU telling me that P.E. classes are no longer a requirement. No pointless 1/2 credit P.E. classes forced upon me?? YES!! College gets better every day and I still have 2 weeks until I start! =]
